DjangoCon Europe, 2nd to 7th June 2015, in Cardiff, Wales. 6 days of talks, tutorials and code.

KuwaitNet, our Bronze sponsor

KuwaitNET is an end-to-end solutions and infrastructure provider to help bring your digital dream to reality.

KuwaitNET was founded on 1997 as the first specialized webhosting and domain registration provider in the region. To meet the increased demand for e-services, KuwaitNET started providing web design and development services for the market in 2001. Moving between HTML, JSP, PHP then Python we focused on Django as early as version 0.96 and never looked back.

Django is the backbone for all projects that we undertake, using such for example Django REST framework in our mobile apps.

We love Django and sponsor Django projects whenever we can, including (but not limited to):

We have also contributed to the Arabic translations of many Django-based projects, including Django itself. Our founder and CTO Bashar Al-Abdulhadi personally brought Django’s Arabic translation to100% last year, after attending DjangoCon Europe 2014.

Believing in Opensource and Share The Knowledge concept we founded the Kuwait Open Source Community, which runs events and meetups for opensource and FOSS awareness in Kuwait.

Its a pleasure to be again at DjangoCon Europe which we hope to be an inspiration this year to organize and host a Django or Python regional event for the Arab world.
